The kindness of the others that were there, how everyone reacted, how everyone felt like a big family...it made her not feel that bad for all her problems, and her small mistakes, that had once made her feel insignificant, not needed, that made her just feel like something that was broken and should be gotten rid of, just like her creators had said.
Sure, there were some rough spots, such as the fight with Hachu, or feeling all depressed when she was was with Michiko. The time she tried to hang up streamers and ended tying herself up, the time she went to the store, and tried to help KyoLen with the wings...
Before, those types of things would have made her run away. Never come back. But coming here had changed how she thought, how she reacted.
The girl didn't believe in Santa, but she decided to wish for things for people instead. Grabbing her diary, she ripped out a piece of paper and started writing.
"For Michiko, I wish for her to be happy this holiday, and new year. Maybe even find something she would like, and have fun. And cookies, since she likes them.
For Hachu, I wish for her to get those...plants she was near in the garden last time. Maybe if she got more, she wouldn't pick on people so much.
For Kyoko, I hope that she will be happy this holiday season. She seems to have had a hard life, from what she told me, but I hope it will be brighter from here on out! And maybe that she find some new tea that she would like.
For Kaai, I hope that she has a lot of fun here, and learns a lot!
For KyoLen...I don't know what to wish for him. Maybe that he never remembers that wing accident.
For that girl who was there at the store, with the ribbon (Meltdown. She just doesn't know her name.), I hope that she is happy this season. When I first saw her, she seemed to not really care about anything. I hope that she feels joy this season.
For Tohru, I hope she get's lots of cookies this year!
For Master, I hope that she had a happy year, and that she gets to be stronger.
For everyone else at this mansion that I haven't met yet, and anyone I'm forgetting, I hope they have a good year, and that their dreams all come true.
Because that would be the greatest present for them of all.
Happy Holidays,
Taru"
She then rolled up the note, and stuck in into the trees branches. She had seen people do it before, and it was what she and Master had done. She then smiled, and just continued to look at the tree happily.
(Happy unnamed Holiday season to everyone!

The girl holds out her hand. "I'm Kaai Yuki~ Who're you, Miss?"
She smiles, and shakes the girl's hand. "I'm Taru Akiha. It's nice to meet you, Kaai." She smiles, then bows. "If you need any help, let me know, alright?" She says, smiling at the young girl.
